About the role

The incumbent is responsible for generating sales though servicing present and potential customers on assigned route, while facilitating receivables collections and maintaining customer relationships.

Acado Jamaica Limited (formerly known as Massy Distribution Jamaica Limited) is one of the leading distribution companies in Jamaica, representing popular international brands of pharmaceutical and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs) for over 100 years. The organisation is a joint venture between Agostini Group and Goddard Enterprises Limited. This 50-50 partnership serves as the holding company for the Group's product operations in its seven regional markets. We are seeking to identify qualified and competent individuals for the following positions:

  • Manages activities to achieve the sales and collections targets
  • Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
  • Services assigned accounts per assigned route
  • Identifies and resolves customer concerns
  • Communicates new product and service opportunities to customers

Qualification and Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in sales or a similar capacity
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of reliability and responsibility
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
