About the role

Oversee the functions of the Operations Department to include arranging, coordinating, and monitoring the arrival and departure of vessels in keeping with standard practices. Functions also include boarding vessels and interacting with Vessel Command to communicate/discuss planned operational services; determining and arranging other special services, including crew needs; noting and documenting events and occurrences in relation to all aspects of vessel operations; interacting with Principal's personnel, stevedores and GOJ personnel; providing information/documentation to allow for the expedient and satisfactory handling of the vessel.

Bachelor's Degree in Shipping Logistics, Operations Management, Management Studies or related field; a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the shipping industry, with a minimum of three (3) years at the managerial level.
