About the role

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Strategic Communications & External Engagement, the role manages community liaison, public consultation, stakeholder participation and community feedback activities that support NaRRA's reconstruction and resilience mandate.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement community liaison and engagement plans.
  • Plan and facilitate consultations, community meetings, town halls and stakeholder activities.
  • Manage systems for community feedback, concerns and grievances and monitor follow-up.
  • Analyse community information, stakeholder sentiment and social risks and prepare reports.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, Communication Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Seven years' progressively responsible experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, public consultation, social development or a related field.
