About SERHA

SERHA is a statutory health authority under Jamaica's Ministry of Health and Wellness, one of four regional health authorities created by the National Health Services Act of 1997.

It delivers public healthcare to residents of Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Catherine and St. Thomas – about 47% of Jamaica's population – through a network of 10 hospitals and 89 health centres, employing roughly 6,000 medical and non-medical staff.

A Regional Director leads the organisation, reporting to a Board appointed by the Minister of Health.
